Story: Long ago, an Empress wanted to have a party, a garden party, and she gathered all of her gardeners and told them to bring all of he flowers from the garden . And when the gardeners went to the peony, which was the earliest of flowers, they said, "we are not ready and we will not go. It is not our time." The Empress was so angry that she sent all the peonies away to another state where they thrived ever after.
